No Fail Banana Bread

Is there anything better in this world than a warm and buttery slice of banana bread? I THINK NOT!

I'm sure there are far more intricate recipes for gourmet banana bread but this is the easiest I've found and no matter what I tweak, it always turns out perfect. This is not healthy. This is not diet friendly. But it DOES contain fruit... so we can all pretend!

All you need are...

3-4 ripe bananas, smashed 1/3 cup melted butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon baking soda pinch of salt 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour {whole wheat if you're feeling frisky} After preheating your oven to 350 degrees, give your naners a good smooshy-smash.

Mix in butter, vanilla, sugar, and egg followed by the salt, flour, and baking soda.

Pour into a 4x8 inch loaf pan or two mini pans... because mini pans are way cuter.

Sprinkle the top with a pinch of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and bake for 45 minutes to an hour.

VOILA! The sugar mixture creates a nice crunchy top and the innards are so nice and soft.

Like I said, it's not the most gourmet or unique of recipes but it is fab-u-lus and you will love it!
